The 50th Anniversary of China-Malaysia Diplomatic Relations: YC Solar and Malaysian Partners Build a Green ‘Belt and Road’ Together

Introduction

 In 2024, the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia and the "China-Malaysia Friendship Year", in order to further deepen the economic and trade ties between Hebei Province and Malaysia, strengthen the cooperation between the two countries in the economy and trade, and help build a China-Malaysia community of destiny, the "China Hebei (Malaysia) Economic and Trade Cooperation Matchmaking Conference" was held in Kuala Lumpur on 27th November.YC Solar attended the meeting as one of the representatives of Hebei Province, and signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on "Princess Bay Green Transformation Demonstration Project" with R&F Development SDN BHD and Zhongxin International Group.

  At the signing ceremony, Ma Teng, head of YC Solar's Malaysian office, Zhang Weiqi, deputy general manager of R&F Development SDN BHD, and Xing Haoxiang, chairman of Zhongxin International Group, signed the Memorandum of Cooperation for the Green Transformation Demonstration Project in Fortune Princess Bay, Malaysia.

  Malaysia is rich in solar energy resources and thanks to the government's policy support and technological advances, the photovoltaic (PV) industry is booming, providing domestic and foreign investors with vast market opportunities. YC Solar, R&F Development SDN BHD and Zhongxin International's joining hands will give a strong impetus to Malaysia's green transformation.

  "The three parties will carry out all-round, multi-level and wide-ranging strategic co-operation in Malaysia on the development, construction, equipment supply, technical support and other business areas of PV building integration projects and distributed PV power generation projects, giving full play to the complementary strengths of the three parties, and joining hands to write a new chapter of China-Malaysia green co-operation  under the framework of green "Belt and Road"."   The signing of this Memorandum of Cooperation not only marks the comprehensive co-operation between the three parties in the green and low-carbon development of property projects in Malaysia, but will also set a green model for the green transformation of the R&F Development SDN BHD and Malaysia as a whole. The three parties will work together to explore the promotion and application of green and low-carbon development models, and promote the transformation of more property projects into green, low-carbon and sustainable directions.
