Recently, Solar & Storage Live Thailand brought together leading voices in the renewable energy sector for a panel discussion titled “PPA Trends and Financing Structures: What Investors Expect in 2026.” The session featured diverse perspectives from industry experts, including Mr. Khubaib (YC Solar), Yanika Chanapol (Norfund), Shaurya Ritwik (Solar Futures Alliance), Kij Nimsawang (Solarvest), and moderator Pariphan Uawithya (Greenshift Partners).

Representing YC Solar, Mr. Khubaib highlighted the company’s comprehensive strengths as both a manufacturer and solar power plant developer. He emphasized that YC Solar not only delivers advanced solar products and turnkey solutions but also integrates downstream EPC, operation and maintenance, and power plant upgrade services. Khubaib also addressed future energy technology trends, noting the continued importance of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries due to declining costs, while pointing to emerging pathways such as sodium-ion batteries, hydrogen energy, and pumped hydro storage.
