China and Myanmar join hands to open up new horizons, and photovoltaic-storage collaboration ushers in a new journey of mutual benefit. On the morning of January 22, Yingchen New Energy and Myanmar Huaxin Global International Trading Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Myanmar Huaxin”) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Ruili, Yunnan. The two parties will fully leverage their respective comprehensive advantages in technology, products, channels, and other areas. According to the agreement, both parties will adhere to the principles of “complementary strengths, resource sharing, and win-win development,” and deepen their cooperation across the entire value chain—including investment, design, consulting, equipment supply, and infrastructure— in areas such as Myanmar’s new energy, photovoltaic industry, and energy storage equipment. They will also jointly engage in brand building and market promotion, continuously enhancing their respective market shares and brand influence locally.

At the signing ceremony, Bai Xuetian, Deputy General Manager of Yingchen New Energy Sales Company, provided a detailed introduction to the company’s core technological advantages in the solar-plus-storage field as well as its market deployment plan for Myanmar. He stated that, leveraging its comprehensive upstream-to-downstream industrial chain advantages, Yingchen New Energy is precisely seizing the market opportunities presented by strong energy demand and accelerated green transformation in the Southeast Asian region. Relying on regional hubs such as the Malaysia-based company and offices in Yunnan, Guangxi, and other areas, Leverage the unique geographical advantages of domestic border cities in radiating to neighboring countries, and take advantage of both domestic and international markets. Tailor-made Yingchen UniGo microgrid solutions for the local area, providing a one-stop delivery service—from project consulting and solution design, through system integration and installation guidance, to operational support. In 2025, Yingchen successfully launched a 3-megawatt microgrid project for industrial applications in Myanmar, providing a highly efficient, replicable, and scalable model for the local energy transition.

Chen Yongling, CEO of Myanmar Huaxin Company, shared key insights based on the current state of Myanmar’s solar and energy storage market. He pointed out that, as a local enterprise with years of deep-rooted experience in the Myanmar market, Myanmar Huaxin has accumulated extensive expertise in localized market operations and resource integration capabilities, enabling it to remove obstacles and accelerate the implementation of new energy projects. Chen Yongling stated that this strategic cooperation will bring together the strengths of technology products and market channels, not only accelerating Huaxin’s business expansion in the new energy sector but also providing cost-effective, highly adaptable microgrid solutions for the Myanmar market. This will help local communities overcome power shortages and promote an upgrade of their energy mix.

Bai Xue Tian stated that the successful signing ceremony has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent implementation of specific projects and deepened cooperation between the two sides. Moving forward, both parties will focus their efforts on areas such as residential and commercial photovoltaic storage systems, as well as rural microgrid development, thus writing a new chapter in China-Myanmar energy cooperation.
